This Cancellation & Refund Policy outlines the terms under which bookings made with Dune Coast Tourism L.L.C (“Dune Coast Tourism,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) may be cancelled, amended, or refunded. By confirming a booking through our website www.dunecoasttourism.com, via email, phone, or authorized agents, you agree to the conditions set forth below.

  • All bookings are subject to the cancellation and refund terms of the specific tour, activity, hotel, or service provider.
  • Cancellation terms vary depending on the product, supplier, season, and operational requirements.
  • The applicable cancellation policy will be communicated at the time of booking and included in your confirmation voucher or invoice.

2.1 Standard Tours & Activities

Unless otherwise stated at the time of booking, the following general cancellation guidelines apply:

  • More than 48 hours before service date: Eligible for a refund, subject to supplier terms and administrative charges.
  • 24 to 48 hours before service date: Partial refund may apply.
  • Less than 24 hours before service date: No refund.
  • No-Show: No refund will be provided.

Note: Certain experiences such as desert safaris, theme parks, private tours, or peak-season bookings may have stricter cancellation terms.

2.2 Private Tours & Customized Packages

  • Private services and tailor-made itineraries often involve advance commitments with suppliers and are generally non-refundable or subject to higher cancellation fees.
  • Specific cancellation terms will be confirmed at the time of booking.
  1. Cancellation by Dune Coast Tourism

We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule services due to circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to:

  • Adverse weather conditions
  • Safety or security concerns
  • Supplier unavailability
  • Force majeure events (natural disasters, government restrictions, pandemics, etc.)

In such cases, one of the following options may be offered, subject to feasibility:

  • Rescheduling to an alternative date
  • Offering a comparable alternative service
  • Issuing a refund for the unused portion of the service

Refunds in these cases are subject to supplier approvals.

  1. Amendments to Bookings
  • Requests for date changes, time changes, or service modifications must be submitted in writing and are subject to availability.
  • Amendments may attract additional charges or price differences.
  • Approved changes do not reset cancellation timelines unless explicitly stated.
  1. Refund Processing
  • Approved refunds will be processed using the original method of payment.
  • Refund processing time typically ranges from 7 to 21 business days, depending on banks, payment gateways, and suppliers.
  • Bank charges, transaction fees, and currency conversion fees (if any) are non-refundable.
  1. Non-Refundable Items

The following are generally non-refundable, unless otherwise specified:

  • No-show bookings
  • Partially used services
  • Promotional or discounted bookings
  • Entrance tickets once issued
  • Visa fees, government charges, or service fees
  • Third-party supplier penalties
  1. Early Departure or Unused Services

No refunds will be issued for services not utilized due to:

  • Late arrival
  • Early departure
  • Voluntary withdrawal from a tour
  • Failure to follow itinerary or safety instructions
  1. Medical or Emergency Cancellations

In cases of documented medical emergencies or exceptional circumstances:

  • Refunds or credits may be considered at the discretion of suppliers.
  • Supporting documents (medical certificates, official notices) may be required.
  • Approval is not guaranteed and remains subject to supplier policies.
  1. Travel Insurance Recommendation

We strongly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance that covers:

  • Trip cancellation
  • Medical emergencies
  • Delays or interruptions
  • Personal injury or loss

Dune Coast Tourism is not responsible for losses that may be covered under travel insurance.
